作为一名写作学生, you will have your work performed by fellow Juilliard students on occasions such as annual concerts by the Juilliard Orchestra devoted to student works chosen through a composition competition; an annual Alice Tully Hall concert featuring the winners of the chamber music composition competition; two orchestral readings per semester, which give as many as eight composers the chance to have their orchestral music read and recorded; six chamber music concerts each year presented by the composition department; ChoreoComp, an annual program of new works developed by six student composer-dancer teams; and Théâter Etudes, a practicum f或作曲家s and students of all disciplines that reimagines musicians as performing bodies on a theatrical stage.

Performing before a live audience is an essential part of the Juilliard experience. Whether you are an instrumentalist, 歌手, 或作曲家, you will have frequent opportunities to share your art with the public. Most performances take place in one of Juilliard's superb auditoriums, but you will also have occasion to appear elsewhere at 林肯中心, including David Geffen and Alice Tully halls, homes of the New York Philharmonic and the Chamber 音乐 Society; at other venues in New York City, 比如卡内基音乐厅, where the Juilliard Orchestra performs annually, 蓝音符爵士俱乐部, where Jazz students enjoy regular gigs, 以及现代艺术博物馆, where the New Juilliard Ensemble appears in the Summergarden series; or on national and international tours.
